Introducing Skin Vive- The next generation skin hydrator.

I am very excited to announce that Skin Vive is now available at Bloomfield Aesthetics! So what is it and how does it fit in with other treatments available in clinic.

Skin Vive is injectable Hyaluronic Acid that provides deep, long lasting hydration. It differs from other hydrators, such as Profhilo, due its cross-linking which means it sits in the dermis (deep layer of the skin) for up to 9 months attracting and retaining moisture.

Skin Vive also works on a cellular level to encourage the re-uptake of a protein called Aquaporin 3. This protein acts as a water channel allowing other hydrating molecules to pass through the skin barrier, but as we age we lose these channels leading to dry skin. Skin Vive increases the presence of this protein to further enhance skin hydration levels over time.

Only one session is required and results last up to 9 months. Numbing cream is applied and the product also contains lidocaine making this treatment super comfortable and quick. There is little to no downtime so you can go about your business as soon as you leave your appointment.
